05/02/07 - Co-operation with Enactice 2007

The Journal of Virtual Reality and Broadcasting has concluded a publication agreement with ENACTIVE/07 – the 4th International Conference on enactive Interfaces which will be held in Grenoble, France from November 19th to November 22nd, 2007. ENACTIVE/07 continues promoting the concept of Enaction in the field of Information and Communication Technologies to encourage the emergence of a new generation of human-computer interfaces. The research in the field of enactive interfaces involves a multidisciplinary research community including creative researchers, theorists, innovative engineers and producers. Therefore, the conference covers a multifaceted list of topics like philosophy, technology, human action and perception, and enactive applications and will feature scientific papers and posters as well as workshops and an exhibition. A number of selected articles will be published in a special issue of the Journal of Virtual Reality and Broadcasting.

Submissions for GRAPP 2007 Special Issue

04/25/07 - GRAPP 2007 Special Issue Submissions

The authors of selected articles from the conference have been invited on April 20th, 2007 to submit their documents and we have already received first submissions. The deadline for the GRAPP 2007 Special Issue is May 31st, 2007, so there is time to expand and update the articles before submission. Authors are invited to enrich their manuscripts with more detailed descriptions, experiments or studies and reflect discussions from the conference.

After the submission, the articles undergo a peer-review process with at least three independent experts from the appropriate field of research who rate the article and make comments and annotations. This phase takes usually three to four weeks. The collected comments are summarized and forwarded in an anonymous form to the authors.

To submit your article, please, visit the website: www.gapworks.de and submit your article using the "GRAPP 2007 Special Issue" container. See the 'GAP for Authors' Guide for a detailed howto concerning the use of the submission system.
