Hypertext marks in LATEX: a manual for hyperref
For the purpose of incorporating Open URL into the TeX-Document, authors make use of the hyperref package. Hyperref allows for creating hyperlink references to URLs that work from pdf, xml and xhtml files. Using hyperref, authors are able to create external links, as well as anchors to figures, tables, footnotes and sections. The use of hypertext is beneficial for electronic Journals, because it enables the author to relate relevant information easily. A detailed description of the usage of hyperref commands is available in online user manual.
Licence & Copyright
All E-Journals hosted at the DiPP-Project are published under the Digital Peer Publishing Licence DPPL. JVRB uses the English 2.0 version of this licence.
Miktex
MikTeX is a TeX implementation for Windows operating Systems. It contains numerous utilities, macro packages, fonts and tools to be used with TeX-Files like LaTeX, PdfTeX or ConTeXt. In a first step MikTeX must be downloaded and may be installed from a repository folder in a second step.

SHERPA/RoMEO
The Journal of Virtual Reality and Broadcasting is now listed as ‘green’ publication in the RoMEO database of the SHERPA Services based at the University of Nottingham. The database summarizes publishers’ conditions with a colour-coded category system that indicates the authors’ rights. ‘Green’ in this context means that JVRB allows the archiving of pre-print, post-print and publisher’s versions of its articles. This implies that authors are allowed to upload and distribute their articles freely over the internet for instance by publicly uploading it to social networks for researchers such as Researchgate, CiteULike or Mendeley.
TeX-User-Group
The TeX Users Group (TUG) was founded in 1980 for educational and scientific purposes in order to provide an organization for those who have an interest in typography and font design, and are users of the TeX typesetting system invented by Donald Knuth. TUG is run by and for its members and represents the interests of TeX users worldwide. The Comprehensive TeX Archive Network (CTAN) presents the primary source for TeX-related software in the internet.
