Volume and Issue Number

The volume number is made up of its consecutive number and year of publication, which are separated by a period.

One year generally represents a single volume. The issue number is equivalent with the article number. jvrb is not organized according to issues, rather, published articles within a single volume are numbered consecutively, beginning with "1". Articles published in jvrb would be referenced following the example: 1.2004,1
