Recent work in this area focuses on buildingeffective acceleration structures, which work well underthe constraints of current GPUs. Most approaches aretargeted at static scenes and only allow navigation in thevirtual scene. So far support for dynamic scenes has notbeen considered for GPU implementations. We havedeveloped a GPU-based ray tracing system for dynamicscenes consisting of a set of individual objects. Eachobject may independently move around, but its geometryand topology are static. ER
