JVRB applies DOIs to all published articles

All articles published in JVRB are now equipped with a DOI (digital object identifier).

It grants a persistent and unambiguous identification of the associated articles and is a standard for scientific publications. It simplifies their citation and improves their accessibility and visibility.

According to the naming convention that JVRB has established for its DOIs, it consists of:

  • a leading DOI-prefix, that identifies the Journal
  • the ISSN
  • the article-number including volume, year, and number
As soon as an article has been accepted for publication, JVRB reserves a DOI for this publication.
