About the Workshop

The 4th Paderborn Workshop "Augmented and Virtual Reality in product development" is targeted at experts from industry and research institutes who significantly work on the development and application of augmented and virtual reality techniques. Topics feature basic and advanced reaseach and applications like: Mobile/Wearable Computing, 3D realtime rendering from PDA to PC cluster, Hardware platforms für AR/VR (mobile, stationary, cluster), innovative input/output devices, user interface design, methods and tools for the efficient development of AR/VR application/authoring, integration of VR/AR applications in industrial production of goods and services, Virtual Prototyping, Digital Mockup, Digital Design Review, Packaging, Installation and De-Installation Studies, Ergonomic Studies, Analysis of Production- and Assembly Processes (Virtual production, digital factory), maintainance and upkeep of machines and facilities, education and training of employees, support of marketing and distribution.
