About the Symposium
The /Symposium on Computer Animation/ (SCA) has established itself as the premier forum for disseminating the latest research results in the computer animation field. SCA 2005 will provide an opportunity for computer animation researchers to interact, share new results, show live demonstrations of their work, and discuss emerging directions for the field. Topics include: autonomous characters; physics-based animation; facial animation; real-time / interactive game animation; group and crowd behavior; expressive motion / communication; nonphotorealistic animation; physical realism / real world sampling for animation nature in motion(natural phenomena, plants, clouds,...) learning / planning / optimization for animation; intuitive interfaces for creating and editing animations; sound and speech for animation; perceptual metrics for animation; mathematical foundations of animation; kinetic art forms on the computer.
